Tuition
The course has a one-time fee of $350 for AIA members and $475 for non-members. Once your tuition has been paid, you will officially
be enrolled in the class until you pass your final exam. YOU MUST PAY TUITION FEES IF YOU WISH TO ORDER COURSE MATERIALS.
Course Materials
Course materials are $175 for both AIA members and non-members. If you live
outside the United States, the materials are an additional $30 for shipping.
Your course materials include the textbook, Introduction to Aviation Insurance
and Risk Management by Bruce Chadbourne, Ed.D. and Alexander Wells, Ed.D and the independent study guide.
Proctored Final Exam
The final exam is optional unless you plan to apply for the CAIP designation.
The proctored final exam is $150 for AIA members and $200 for non-members. The exam consists of 20 multiple-choice questions
and 15 essay questions administered by an approved proctor of your choice. Instructions and requirements for setting up your proctored
exam will be sent to you when you purchase your final exam. Students must score 75 percent of the total possible points to pass the exam.
The re-testing fee for the final exam is $150 for AIA members and $200 for non-members. Students must wait at least 90 days from the date
of their previous exam before retaking the test.

Weekend Course
What's included with registration:

- Pre-class assignments to get you up to speed
- This course IS eligible for adjusters’ credits in some states!
- Breakfast, Lunch and Refreshments
- Completion of the course in a weekend with face-to-face instruction by the course creators and individuals working in the industry
Costs
The cost to register for the class is $800 and $150 for the final exam if you are a member of AIA and $950 and $200 for the final exam if you are not a member
of AIA. Membership in AIA is $130 per year for individual membership and $200 per year for corporate membership. If you are currently enrolled in the Aviation
Insurance and Risk Management Self-study course, you will not pay the full amount.
Schedule
The session lasts from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday with the optional final exam on Sunday morning. The class includes breakfast and lunch and breaks Friday and Saturday.
