  Certified Aviation Insurance Professional - Current Holders

Certified Aviation Insurance Professional Retainment Requirements

CAIP holder must maintain AIA Membership in good standing
CAIP Holder must have been actively employed in the aviation insurance industry for at least three of the last five years after receiving the desingation.
CAIP holder must complete AIA CIE during the AIA Annual Conference at least every other year (or equivalent, as determined by the CIE Committee)
In "off" years, holders must complete at least eight hours of state-approved CIE.
Retirees who have held the designation for at least five years may use the designation without CIE or employment requiresment as long as they remain an AIA Member in good standing.
If a CAIP holder fails to complete these items, the CAIP designation will be revoked.
